The Cypress Landscaping Updates

If you've noticed some changes around the Clubhouse parking lot or the Upper Cascade area lately, you're not imagining things. The Cypress has been working with a landscape designer on a refresh of two well-traveled spots on campus, and we want to share what's in store.

Upper Cascade

The Upper Cascade area is seeing a phased refresh, with some plant removal happening now and new installation planned for fall. The design focuses on the pool surroundings and walkway areas, introducing several specimen trees alongside flowering shrubs and ornamental grasses. The result will be a more vibrant and inviting outdoor space for Members to enjoy throughout the seasons.

Clubhouse Parking Lot

The parking lot entrance and surrounding beds are getting a full landscape enhancement. The design brings in a mix of flowering trees, shrubs, and ornamental grasses chosen for color and year-round structure. Some existing plantings are being removed or relocated to make room, and existing trees will be preserved where possible. The overall effect will be a more layered, cohesive look as you arrive on campus.
