Qualifications to become a member of The Cypress of Raleigh include being at least 62 years old (if a couple, one being 62 or older), financial qualifications must be met, and each person must be capable of living independently at the time of purchase. Equity Ownership
Because Members own their homes, The Cypress of Raleigh operates debt free, and monthly fees are among the lowest in the Triangle. Our Members typically use the equity from their current homes to purchase their Cypress home, enhancing their active lives and building long-term relationships with their new neighbors.

Those who live at The Cypress of Raleigh purchase and own their residence and own a pro-rata share of the entire community; this ownership provides the control and flexibility that people desire. Most Life Plan Communities are either entrance fee models or rental models. The value advantage of owning your own home aligns with the same reasons most people choose to own their homes throughout their adult lives.
Following the purchase of a residence there is a monthly fee for various services. The Cypress of Raleigh’s monthly fees are among the lowest in the area for two main reasons. First, the Cypress of Raleigh is a debt free community and secondly, operates for the benefit of its members as an IRS Section 501(c)(4) not for profit entity.

Yes. Interested parties may join The Cypress of Raleigh “Future Member List” for $1000 which is fully refundable, anytime, for any reason. Our list is not chronological, it is driven by you. You let us know when you are “READY”, and we will work to find an option that matches your criteria.
